Terms and Conditions of Service
DoctorRecovery is a disaster recovery service. The recovery of
files is based upon the assumption that all of your data is
contained within the file and not somewhere else on your
disk. DoctorRecovery recovers all useable data that can
be found in your file and does not guarantee that you will get 100% of
your file in tact. By submitting your file to our system, you are
agreeing to the terms of pricing and understand that your recovered
file may not contain all of the items that you were hoping to retrieve,
including but not limited to text, graphics, formulas, VBA macros,
forms, reports, tables, charts, graphs, slides, pages
or formatting. You as the customer also agree to
accept all responsibility for the files that are submitted to
our system.
Refunds of Non-Recoverable Files
Files are considered to be "Not Recoverable" if the data found in them
is less than 25,000 bytes. In these cases the file is returned to you and
no charges are made. Otherwise, refunds are granted for the following conditions
only:
- The recovered file is filled with unreadable
characters(called "garbage"), that renders it unuseable in any way, shape or
form. A refund will ge granted if the percentage of unreadable
characters exceeds 80% or more of the file. Recovered files
containing less than 80%, are considered to be recovered files with usable
data and will not be refunded.
- The recovered file fails to open, even after manual recovery is done by a
service technician.
Pricing of services is based upon the amount of data that
is found in your file. Refunds are not granted for files
that are missing parts or components, including but not limited to: text,
graphics, formulas, VBA macros, forms, reports, tables, charts,
graphs, pages, formatting or changes in file size.
If
you are located outside of the United States, your banking institution may apply
additional charges for converting the currency that is paid to
DoctorRecovery. The rate of exchange varies for each
country and is dependent upon the daily trading that occurs within
each country's financial markets. Any charges that are applied for the
exchange of currency are beyond the control and responsibility of
DoctorRecovery, and hence can not be refunded. If you have any
discrepancies concerning charges for currency exchange, you will need to
address them with the financial institution that issued you your credit
card.
Refunds are also not
granted for recoveries that are compared against the performance of rival
companies to DoctorRecovery. If you
have any issues with competitors of DoctorRecovery,
you will need to address it with them.
Terms and Conditions of
Discounts
Your eligibility for this
discount is validated when your recovered file is returned to you via your
email address.
In order to receive this discount, as well as your recovered file,
your email address must be valid and currently active. DoctorRecovery is not responsible for email that fails to
reach you due to an email address that does not exist.
Discounts may
only be taken at the time of recovery or payment. Discounts may not be applied once the file has been recovered and
returned to you.

If your computer accesses the Internet through your School's
or Company's Network, make sure you have the proper access rights to send
and receive files though the Firewall and / or Proxy Server.
